The story behind COLORBARK

I'm Elisabetta Rizzato, Italian architect, trend strategist, and founder of ITALIANBARK®, an award-winning blog that inspired and helped design lovers worldwide since 2013.
Over the years, I’ve worked across the world’s main design capitals, observing how interiors, colors, and materials evolve in real spaces, and how trends quietly take shape long before they are named.
Through TRENDBARK, I share trendbooks and research tools that help make sense of these shifts. Because, one thing is clear: the real challenge is translation : turning trends into choices that work in everyday, livable projects.
COLORBARK is instead my creative colorful space: was born from my workshops CASACROMIA and will evolve with time and with me, and who knows what time will bring inside these online pages. A space open to experimentation, reflection, and whatever direction time naturally brings.

Why COLORBARK

Because it’s no longer the time for total white nor for using all the same color trend.
Because the right shade in the right place can change how you feel, how you live, and even how you work.
Because color, when used well, is the most powerful design tool we have.
And because I simply needed a space for myself to just be colourful and creative.

Inside COLORBARK, you’ll find color workshops, trend palettes created by myself, tools to share how we work internally with colors, and what else is still in my brain but not outside, or is still somewhere here but not already shared with you.
